VPN Connection Setup : Step 1. Download and install OpenVPN and the OpenVPN plugin for the Network Manager

VPN Connection Setup : Step 2. Navigate to the configuration files download area and click on the link for the Configuration files for Mac & Linux

VPN Connection Setup : Step 3. If you are not logged in you will be required to enter your Portal username and password. This is the email address and password you selected when you signed up to iVPN.net. Click on Login to continue

VPN Connection Setup : Step 4. Click on Save File to save the file

VPN Connection Setup : Step 5. Locate the downloaded file (Usually in ~/Downloads) and right click on it and select Extract Here

VPN Connection Setup : Step 6. Click on the Network Manager icon in the toolbar in the top right and select Configure VPN

VPN Connection Setup : Step 7. Click Import to import an iVPN.net configuration file

VPN Connection Setup : Step 8. Select one of the .conf files representing the server you would like to configure and click Open to import.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 9. Enter your iVPN.net username and password. This is the username and password you received in your Welcome email. The username starts with 'ivpn'. Do NOT put anything in the Private Key Password field. Click Apply

VPN Connection Setup : Step 10. Repeat steps 7-9 for any additional servers you would like to configure now. When you are finished, Click Close

VPN Connection Setup : Step 11. Click on the Network Manager icon in the toolbar in the top right and select the new configured server

VPN Connection Setup : Step 12. If the connection was successfull, you should see a small lock next to the Network Manager icon

VPN Connection Setup : Step 13. If you wish to verify that you are connected, navigate to www.infosniper.net where your current location will be shown on a map. If this is not your expected location, please view the troubleshooting notes in the knowledgebase.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 14. To disconnect, click on the Network Manager icon in the toolbar and select Disconnect VPN
