VPN Connection Setup : Step 1. Login to the client area at http://www/gatevpn.com/billing/ using the using your email address and the password your created when you signed up.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 2. On the right hand side of the page you will see the ” Downloads” link – click the link to enter the download area.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 3. Click on the “GateVPN Client Installer”

VPN Connection Setup : Step 5. Here, we’ve downloaded the file to the Downloads folder but you can save the file anywhere on your PC

Step 6: Installing GateVPN. right click on the installation file and choosr “Run as administrator”

VPN Connection Setup : Step 7. If you have UAC enabled on windows, you eill see this warning. You must click “yes” to continue. It’s safe to do this.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 8. The install process will begin, click next to continue

VPN Connection Setup : Step 9. Click “I Agree” to accept the licence

VPN Connection Setup : Step 10. Leave the tickboxes as they are and click “next”

VPN Connection Setup : Step 11. By default the program will install in C:\Program Files\OpenVPN – there’s no need to change this. Just click “Install”

VPN Connection Setup : Step 13. click finish

Step 14: Starting GateVPN. On your desktop you will find a shortcut called OpenVPN GUI. Right click this shortcut and choose “Run as administrator”

VPN Connection Setup : Step 15. If you have UAC enabled on windows, you eill see this warning. You must click “yes” to continue. It’s safe to do this.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 16. When the application is running, at the bottom right of your screen you will see a small red icon with a cross in the taskbar. Right click the icon and a menu will appear.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 17. Clcik on “connect”

VPN Connection Setup : Step 18. A dialog box will appear prompting for your username and password.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 19. Enter your username and password and click enter. Your username and password we’re sent to you by email but they can also be found in the client portal under the “My Details” menu.

VPN Connection Setup : Step 20. After a few moments the icon will turn green and you will see a connected message.
|

VPN Connection Setup : Step 21. On Windows Vista and Windows 7, the first time that you connect, you will see the “Set network Location” prompt. Select “public network”

VPN Connection Setup : Step 22. When you are ready to quit the vpn, right click the green icon and choose “Disconnect”
