It looks extremely user friendly with amazing GUI that makes VPN fun and easy for beginners and non techie users as well. It has all the important features that a basic VPN dialer should have. Let me brief you on all the exclusive features one by one.

Dashboard

VPN dashboard shows the status of your connectivity, your changed and original IP address and the duration of your current VPN session on the top right hand side corner of Software Window. It also tells you on which protocol and to which country and server you are connected to. Beside the login details, there is an interesting graphical display of your connection Download and Upload speed.

Country Selection Tool

This part of the dialer let you have a complete view of available servers to connect.The most interesting part is the Smart Server Selection tool which lets you filter the server based on the purpose you want to use VPN for. PureVPN dialer has 7 basic purposes for which  VPN is used and they tuned their servers according to the specific purpose and your specific need. 7 Purposes include,

1. P2P/Filesharing Activities: For those who want to use VPN for P2P and filesharing activities, PureVPN has dedicated servers.
2. USA TV Watching: Servers for those who want to watch Hulu, Netflix, ABC or any other USA IP restricted TV Channels.

Settings give you some options to customize VPN dialer dashboard graphical chart. It also gives you options to set your VPN software at automatic redial once the VPN disconnects and auto launch on system start-up to give you full security.

Billing and Packages

PureVPN software gives you convenience to choose the package for account renewal in the dialer window, so that you don’t have to visit the website for the selection and comparison of Packages. Just click on the package you want to subscribe to and you will be taken to order page directly on your browser window. Pay for it and you are all done with your VPN purchase.

Customer Feedback

As PureVPN Software is currently in Beta version, this window plays a very important role to report any bug, error. You can also email them if you want any feature to be added in the software.

Support

This windows gives you your connection logs, which include timings and duration of your VPN sessions. Most importantly it brings support tickets and live chat to your dialer screen. You can select the support method i.e. support ticket or live chat and ask for any kind of support including technical, billing or product right in your software window. You also have the option to export logs, if you want to save it for your record.

At bottom left side corner, PureVPN displays all the latest promotions that you can avail to redeem heavy discounts and deals. Links of Terms of Service and Privacy policy are also given in the dialer in case you have any doubt about them, you can always visit these links from your dialer window.

Memory Consumption

PureVPN software consumes around 33,000 K memory when not connected. When connected it consumes around 41,000 K Memory. It can be reduced to lessen the burden on user’s system.

Some Recommendations

Though the dialer has all the necessary features but we will still like to recommend some value added features like,

• Include the speed test so that users can test their connection speed anytime.
• Give quick links to the websites and applications that are most used by users like Hulu, Netflix, Spotify, Pandora, Turntable and several other applications
• Include Server selection tool with respect to latency of a particular VPN server.
• Include VPN disconnection tool that disconnects the specified application automatically on VPN disconnection.
• Reduce the Memory consumption as much as possible.
• Include the Billing and Payment in the VPN software window as well.
• Include the option of account history or client area screen.

Bottom line: Overall, we rate this VPN software 9/10 with respect to functionality, ease of use, ease of navigation and features.
